Adv. Ido Levin
Adv. Ido Levin is an experienced lawyer, with rich and unique background in law and economics. For years he has represented companies and individuals, from Israel and abroad, giving them legal advice and representing them in complex litigation. His business and economic expertise enables him to locate the true interests of the parties and to find solutions that take into account the wider commercial context of the case.
Mr. Levin was one of the first lawyers to work for the Israel State Attorney's Economic Department, where he handled complex financial cases, both in the first instances and in appeals to the Supreme Court of Israel. In this context, Mr. Levin represented the State of Israel, among others, in important cases in which precedents were set in the field of securities law. In addition, Mr. Levin handled investigations by the Israel Police and other enforcement agencies regarding complex economic crimes, including money laundering cases, even before the Money Laundering Prohibition Law was passed in Israel.
Mr. Levin is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and the School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. While at law school, has was a member of the editorial board of TAU Law Review. In addition, Mr. Levin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the well-known European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France. He also served as an assistant lecturer in contract law at the IDC Herzlia.
Mr. Levin performed his legal internship at the Supreme Court of Israel (the Honorable Justice (retired) Gabriel Bach) and with one of the largest and best-established law firms in Israel.
In addition to his many years of experience as a lawyer (representing the State and also in private practice), Mr. Levin has also worked and gained experience in the field of investment banking with the New York office of Lehman Brothers and he is licensed to engage in securities from the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
After his return to Israel, and prior to the establishment of the firm, Mr. Levin worked in prominent law offices in Israel, dealing primarily with high-end litigation.
Mr. Levin also serves as an arbitrator for the Arbitration Institute of the Israel Bar Association. Furthermore, he is also a certified mediator from the National Mediation Institute of the Israel Bar Association.
For years, Mr. Levin served (in the reserve service) in the Military Prosecutor's Office and has a permit to represent suspects and defendants before military tribunals.
Mr. Levin is a member (judge) of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv and Central Districts). Furthermore, Mr. Levin serves as a member of the Criminal Law Forum and the Prohibition on Money Laundering Committee of the Israel Bar. Mr. Levin also serves as a mentor in the Mentor Project of the Israel Bar Association. As part of this effort, Mr. Levin guides young lawyers at the beginning of their professional path.
Mr. Levin is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Jewish Lens Project.
